I love to travel and I especially love going to new places where I can work with children and families. Here's a quick run down of where I've been so far: Kenya (September, 2012), Romania (September, 2009), Sweden (May, 2008), Honduras (May, 2007), England/Ireland/Scotland (June, 2000), and Israel (June/July, 1999). Whenever someone asks me to go overseas to do pretty much anything, I have a hard time saying no! On my previous Kenya and Romania trips, I worked with a medical team to provide basic medical services to hundreds of people in various communities. In Sweden, I went on a study abroad trip to examine older adult care. In Honduras, I worked with a group that has a malnutrition clinic and an orphanage. I went on my two older trips (England and Israel) when I was in high school. I went to England and the surrounding areas as part of a concert tour for the chamber orchestra group I was in and I went to Israel with a group from the summer camp I spent many years at.
